Data type widening support for BigQuery schema drift
Bigquery schema drift now includes support for data type widening - when you change a column's data type in the Source table to replicate, the corresponding BigQuery Target column will adjust to automatically accommodate wider data types so you don't have to manually modify it.
You can control this behavior with a toggle in the Additional Options section:
